School Dental & Eye Screening Drive
Our most frequent outreach effort. AMARAY clinicians visit primary schools across Kitale to screen children for dental decay, gum disease, and vision problems — often identifying issues that parents and teachers were unaware of.
Each screening includes a quick oral exam, vision assessment, oral hygiene education, and written feedback for parents. Children who need further care are referred to our Kitale branch at no consultation fee.

Community Eye Health Camp
Held in open community spaces in Bungoma, our eye camps bring free comprehensive eye examinations to adults and children who may never have had one. Long-standing conditions such as presbyopia, cataracts, and refractive errors are frequently picked up at these events.
Participants who need prescription eyewear are fast-tracked to our Bungoma optical services, often at a subsidised rate for low-income participants identified during the drive.

Workplace Wellness Programme
Partnering with businesses, county offices, and institutions, AMARAY delivers on-site dental and eye wellness checks to employees. Workplace drives are designed for speed and minimal disruption — combining a quick oral health screen and vision check into a single session.
Organisations receive a summary wellness report and a dedicated contact at AMARAY for employees who need to book follow-up care.

Special Needs & Orphanage Outreach
AMARAY visits orphanages, children’s homes, and special needs centres to provide gentle dental and eye care for children who may have limited access to routine healthcare. Our clinicians are trained to adapt assessments and communication to each child’s needs.
Care is provided at no cost to the facility. We believe every child deserves a healthy smile and clear vision, regardless of circumstance.
